Addressing the meeting, the CPI-ML leaders said that the punishment to 23 persons including Manoj Manjil is politically motivated. They stated that as soon as the BJP came to power in Bihar, a conspiracy is being hatched to gag the voice of the poor by tightening the noose of law around the neck of the people fighting for the poor but the people in power are in dilemma. The voice cannot be suppressed rather the struggle will be done by becoming more vocal.
The leaders said that in the year 2015, at the behest of local BJP leaders, a murder case Jai Prakash Singh was imposed against the party leaders. A few days before this incident, their party leader, Satish Yadav was murdered by the BJP but their killers are still roaming around but the one who fought for the poor and the prominent leader of ‘School on Road’ movement was hanged under a well-planned conspiracy. They added that one on hand, their leaders are being punished while on the other hand, the murders involved in the murder of the poor are being released. With the change in power in Bihar, the BJP showed its fascist colour but this evil intensions will not be allowed to succeed.
