ADJ 1, SASARAM CIVIL COURT SLAPPED FINE OF Rs. 10,000 ON EACH BHOJPUR DM, SP AND THE SUPERINTENDENT, ARA REMAND HOME
Additional District and Session Judge I, Sasaram Civil Court, Manoj Kumar slapped a fine of Rs. 10,000 on Superintendent, Ara Remand Home, Bhojpur District Magistrate and the Bhojpur SP in connection with disobedience of his order and directed to realize the amount from their salaries and deposit the same in District Legal Service Authority, Rohtas within a week.
Sasaram,16 Sunday 2023, (RNI): Additional District and Session Judge I, Sasaram Civil Court, Manoj Kumar slapped a fine of Rs. 10,000 on Superintendent, Ara Remand Home, Bhojpur District Magistrate and the Bhojpur SP in connection with disobedience of his order and directed to realize the amount from their salaries and deposit the same in District Legal Service Authority, Rohtas within a week.
It may be mentioned here that a child accused of Sadeya village under Haidarnagar police station in Palamu district in Jharkhand was kept in the Ara Remand Home. He was brought to the Ara Sadar Hospital for treatment from the Remand Home but he had slept with police custody and fled away. A trial GR No 5/2018 was under process in the court of ADJ I, Sasaram and the court had ordered the Superintendent, Ara Remand Home and the SHO of the concerned police station several times to produce the accused in the court but they did not comply with the order and so the court apprised the Bhojpur DM and the SP of the order but in vain. Taking the disobedience by the officials, the court slapped fine of Rs. 10,000 on each of the officials.
