ACTION RECOMMENDED TO THE POLICE HEADQUARTERS AGAINST THE KAIMUR SDPO FOR SENDING OBSCENE MESSAGE TO A LADY SUB-INSPECTOR

BHABHUA-----------------------DIG recommended suspension, departmental proceeding and transfer of an SDPO to the Police Headquarter in connection with chatting obscenely, sending obscene message on mobile continuously and harassing a lady Sub-Inspector. Now the police headquarter is to take action  in this regard as the ball is in its court.

A lady Sub-Inspector lodged a complaint against her senior SDPO Faiz Ahamad Khan of Mahania in Kaimur district blaming that the SDPO continuously licking her obscenely, harassing her and also sending obscene message on her mobile. On her complaint, the DIG, Shahabad range, Navin Chandra Jha recommended suspension and transfer of the SDPO from Mohania and also recommended department proceeding against the SDPO to the police headquarter.

The lady Sub-Inspector blamed that the Mohani SDPO Faiz Ahamad Khan sent obscene message on mobile and tried to harass her by luring to appoint her as the Station House Officer of the police station and complained the Kaimur SP Lalit Mohan Sharma in this regard. On her complaint, the SP got the investigated by the committee formed to prevent sexual harassment at the police work place. The Internal Complaint Committee comprising the president, Internal Vigilance Committee cum the SHO Kaimur Woman police station Poonam Kumari, Senior ADM Savita Kumari, Sub-Inspector Shraddha Suman, Sub-Inspector Shubhangi, Constable Sandhya Kumari and the Professor SVV College, Seema Patel, investigated into the complaint filed against the Mohania SDPO Faiz Ahamad Khan and found the complaint right. The inquiry committee also found that the SDPO stalked the lady Sub-Inspector even after she was transferred from his work area, sent obscene message and kept forcing her to yield to his dictate and fed up with all these, she complaint the SP.

The SDPO delete the messages frequently after sending her so that he could not be caught and so the Internal Complaint Committee handed over its report to the Kaimur SP. The same report was sent to the DIG Shahabad range, Navin Chandra Jha who took it seriously and recommended action against the SDPO to the police headquarters.
