ABSCONDER ARRESTED
Bhojpur police arrested a miscreant after 30 years in connection with murder of his sister and sent him to jail after interrogation.
Ara, 12 January 2023, (RNI): Bhojpur police arrested a miscreant after 30 years in connection with murder of his sister and sent him to jail after interrogation. The arrested miscreant was identified as Butan Yadav under Agiaw police station area.
Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that Butan Yadav had killed his sister Lachho Devi and threw the body into the well of the village under Agiaw Bazaar police station in Bhojpur district in the year 1993 and escaped from the scene. Butan Yadav had told the villagers that he had killed his sister as she had some illicit relation with a person. After killing his sister, Butan Yadav was absconding for some time but later he came to his village and lived there but the police could not arrest him.
In another incident, the police arrested Munna Mian who was absconding for two years and sent him to jail after interrogation.
