A film on diabetes, Why is the accurate treatment of diabetes not being developed?

New Delhi (RNI) Diabetes is becoming a serious threat to the world due to uncontrolled eating and lifestyle. On an average, 10 lakh people are dying from this disease all over the world.

According to the World Health Organization, 42.2 crore people in the world are currently suffering from diabetes. In the last four decades, the number of people affected by diabetes has increased four times. Crores of people in India are also suffering from it. The most affected states are Kerala and Goa, there has been a lot of change in the lifestyle of people along with education.

It has emerged as a disease which is rapidly catching children and youth in its grip. Actually, this disease occurs when the amount of glucose or sugar starts accumulating in the blood inside the body.

Renowned senior physician Dr. Girijesh Rastogi said that this disease has a history of more than 5 thousand years. In ancient times it was known as diabetes and the number of its patients was very less, but as the lifestyle of people has changed, food habits and lifestyle have become uncontrolled, this disease has spread rapidly all over the world.

Due to this disease, people may have to face problems like heart attack, blindness, kidney failure and paralysis of legs. Nowadays, this disease is also affecting young people, he said.

Senior journalist and Executive President of SAARC Journalist Forum Dr. Samrendra Pathak said that crores of people are suffering from this disease all over the world. This disease is spreading on a large scale, but there is a lack of awareness about its causes and prevention. More than half of the people affected by it do not know about the disease.

He said that claims are being made about the exact treatment of this disease, but the reality is that the exact medicine for this disease has not been invented yet. The world community should pay serious attention to this.

Prof. Shashi Shekhar Prasad Singh of Political Science, Delhi University said that this is a disease from which people all over the world, including India, are suffering on a large scale, but why has its treatment not been found till now? Is the business interest of the pharmaceutical companies around the world an obstacle in its final treatment?

The health industry at the global level has such economic interests attached to it, that for the business interests from the developed nations, they first propagate the horror of different diseases in developing countries, and then carry out the business.

Well-known physicist and film producer Prof. Yogesh Kumar said that when we eat food, our body breaks down carbohydrates and converts them into glucose. The hormone called insulin is released from the pancreas, with the help of which the cells of our body absorb sugar and make energy, he said.

Prof. Kumar said that when insulin production in our body decreases or it does not work properly, then the cells become unable to absorb the amount of sugar present in the blood. This condition gives rise to diabetes.

In response to a question, film producer Prof. Kumar said that it is true that a big business is being done on this disease, in which all kinds of mafias are active. All these things will be included in our upcoming film. Shooting will start next month. L.S.
