BUXAR--------------------------Buxar police recovered body of a youth from a canal at Dhus under Nasariganj police station in Rohtas district and brought it to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Vipin Singh alias Chintu Singh 24 son of Vijay Singh of Tarbangala Ward No 38 and lane no 8 in Dehari-on-Sone. The deceased is said the nephew of the former mukhia Kanchanpur under Sasaram Muffassil police station Mintu Singh.
SHO Nasariganj police station Sudhir Kumar said that Vipin Singh alias Chintu Singh had gone to the bank of the canal on August 16, 2023 to attend call of nature. He slipped into the canal and drowned. The family members had informed the police regarding missing of the youth. The police informed all the police station in this regard. Meanwhile, the villagers saw a body floating in the river and informed the police. On information, the police rushed to the spot and fished out the lacerated body. The family members recognized the body with the pendent he was wearing.
