A YOUTH DIED UNDER MYSTERIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES

ARA------------------------------Bhojpur police recovered body of a youth from near Baburbani Ghat under Koelwar police station in Bhojpur district and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Md. Raza 25 son of Md. Khurshid Rayan of Town Ward No 10 under Koelwar police station. An FIR was lodged with the police under Koelwar police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.
Shakina Begum, mother of the deceased said that Md. Raza and gone from the house at about 12 pm and she got the news of his dead at about 3.30pm. She blamed that someone killed Md. Raza as there was marks of injuries and burns on his body
SHO Koelwar police station Narottam Chandra said that there were marks of injuries on the head of the deceased and blood was coming out from the head and also marks of burns on his both the hands. He said that he was mercilessly murdered and his body was thrown near Baburbani Ghat to erase evidence. He said that the exact death of Md. Raza will be ascertained after the postmortem report.
Md. Khurshid Rayin, father of the deceased said that two heroin users had stolen a gas cylinder from his house about two weeks ago and were trying to escape from the scene but his son Md. Raza caught them red handed and handed them over to police. Later the police released both the thieves after furnishing a bail bond in the police station as they were local. Both again came to his house and threatened Md. Raza with dire consequences and so the family members suspected that Md. Raza was killed.
