BUXAR------------------------A girl student of G N M College, Buxar situated on the campus of Old Sadar Hospital, committed suicide. Buxar police recovered the body from the hostel of the college and brought it to the Buxar Sadar Hospital for postmortem. Love affair is said to be the cause behind the incident. The deceased was a resident of Fatuha in Patna district. An FIR was lodged with the police under Buxar town police station in this regard and the police are investigating the matter.
SHO Buxar town police station Dinesh Kumar Malakar said that the girl student had come to the G N M college Hostel on the campus of Old Sadar Hospital in Buxar district from her village at Fatuha in Patna district after vacation. At about 7pm she confined herself into her room of the hostel. In the morning, she was found hanging to the ceiling of the room in the morning today. The police, on information, reached the spot and recovered the body and brought it to the Buxar Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
Jagriti Kumari, Principal, G N M College, said that the deceased had never scuffled with anyone. She had come from her village a day before. She stated as to why she took this extreme step is beyond expectation and is also a matter of investigation.
