A PERSON FROM UP SHOT AT AND INJURED IN BUXAR
One person from Uttar Pradesh was shot at and injured in Buxar when he had come here to give money to a setter for the service of his nephew.
Buxar, 6 March 2023, (RNI): One person from Uttar Pradesh was shot at and injured in Buxar when he had come here to give money to a setter for the service of his nephew. The injured was identified as Mahavir of Bastar village of Kasganj district in Uttar Pradesh. The injured was admitted to a Primary Health Centre at Itadhi under the same police station in Buxar district.
Mahavir said that he had come to Buxar to give money to a setter for the service of his nephew in the evening on March 5, 2023. The setter requested him to stay in his house as it was too late and took him to a secluded place at the outskirt of village on pretext to attend call of nature where he pumped two bullets into his body and escaped. Hearing his cry, the villagers rushed to the spot and admitted him to the Primary Health Centre at Itadhi. His condition is stated to be critical and he is unable to tell the name and address of the setter. The police rushed to the spot and are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the setter. The police also informed his family members about the incident.
Circle Inspector Manoj Singh said that the injured is unable to say clearly about the incident and the police are investigating the matter on the basis of information provided by the injured.
It may be mentioned here that syndicate of illegal business in name of providing jobs by taking handsome money from aspirants are very much active in the areas from Shahpur to Rajpur. It is also said that question papers are made available to the candidates about 12 hours prior to the commencement of examination from Sub-Inspector to railways.
