A PERSON COMMITS SUICIDE WITH HIS DOUBLE BARREL GUN IN BHOJPUR VILLAGE

ARA (RNI) One person committed suicide with his double barrel gun in the wee hour at Bakhorapur village under Badahara police station in Bhojpur district on April 7, 2024. The deceased was identified as Shailesh Singh 58 son of late Ramadhar Singh of Bakhorapur village. The police recovered the body and his two barrel gun from the spot and brought the body to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Badara police station in this regard and the police are investigating the matter whether it is suicide or murder.
SHO Badahara police station Sanjay Kumar Singh said that Shailesh Singh was suffering from hyperglycemia. He was fond of eating and drinking and never abstained from diet despite warning. Instead he used to say that as soon as he realized that he was suffering from physical problems, he would shoot himself. He further said that Shailesh Singh seemed that he committed suicide by shooting himself with his double barrel gun. His wife Urmila Devi saw in the wee hour today that Shailesh Singh was dead and lying in the pool of blood on verandah and his double barrel gun was also lying beside him. She told all the family members. On information rushed to the spot and informed the police. The police arrived at the spot and recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
Bir Bahadur Singh, cousin brother of the deceased said that Shailesh Singh was suffering from hyperglycemia and so he was in depression and so he committed suicide with his double barrel gun.
