One labour was crushed to death near Chhotaki Sanadiya under Ara Muffassil police station on Ara-Salempur main road in Bhojpur district in the night when a speeding tractor dashed an auto he was in and the driver escaped with the tractor.

ARA---------------------One labour was crushed to death near Chhotaki Sanadiya under Ara Muffassil police station on Ara-Salempur main road in Bhojpur district in the night when a speeding tractor dashed an auto he was in and the driver escaped with the tractor. The police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Ashok Prasad 27 son of Chandeshwar Prasad of Mainpura village under Dhobaha police station in Bhojpur district.
Mantu Kumar, brother of the deceased said that Ashok Prasad, after taking meal in the morning, set out with lunch for the site where he worked at about 7am. When he did not return home till late night, the family members called him but he did not receive the call that disturbed them and they searched for him everywhere. Meanwhile, villagers at Chhotaki Sanadiya said that Ashok Prasad had met an accident and the locals had rushed him to the Ara Sadar Hospital. The family members went to the Ara Sadar Hospital and found Ashok Prasad dead there.
SHO Ara Muffassil police station said that Ashok Prasad was going to his native village on an auto rickshaw when a speeding tractor dashed the auto rickshaw near Chhotaki Sanadiya village under Ara Muffassil police station on Ara-Salempur main road and injured Ashok Prasad who sitting on the edge on the auto-rickshaw. The villagers rushed him to the Ara Sadar Hospital where the doctor declared him brought dead.
