A FARMER SHOT DEAD IN BUXAR VILLAGE

BUXAR-----------------------------Some unidentified armed miscreants shot dead a famer while sleeping in his hut at Devdhiya village under Rajpur police station in Buxar district. The deceased was identified as Om Prakash Singh 50 cousin brother of Devdhiya PACS president Dharmendra Singh. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Buxar Sadar Hospital for postmortem. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Rajpur police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. Reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained.
SDPO Dheeraj Kumar said that Om Prakash Singh after taking meal, was sleeping in a hut near his field to watch the cattle and barns as ever when some unidentified armed miscreants shot him dead while sleeping and escaped from the scene.
