A case of fraud of lakh of rupees from more than five dozen unemployed youths and labourers in the name of sending them abroad has come out of closet after some of the youths complained the police under Brahmpur police station in Buxar district. Police are investigating the matter.

BUXAR (RNI) A case of fraud of lakh of rupees from more than five dozen unemployed youths and labourers in the name of sending them abroad has come out of closet after some of the youths complained the police under Brahmpur police station in Buxar district. Police are investigating the matter.

Chandan Yadav son of Rajendra Yadav of Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh opened an office of a private company near Ramgarh petrol pump under Brahmpur police station in Buxar district in the name of sending unemployed youths abroad. Falling in temptation, youths and some labourers in the vicinity of Brahmpur approached the company for going abroad to earn Chandan Yadav, owner of the company, showed them the dream of sending abroad on better salary and realized Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 60,000 from each of unemployed youths and thus cheated at least 59 unemployed youth.

When the youths were not sent abroad for a long time, they demanded their money back but the accused Chandan Yadav shooed them away everytime. Ramesh Rai told the police that he had parted with Rs. one lakh for sending his two sons abroad to earn. Bajrangi Rai and Ayodhya Rai said that they had given Rs. 60,000 and 68,000 to Chandan Yadav to send their wards to Mangolia but the accused gave fake papers and sent all the youths back.

SHO Brahmpur police station said that some youths have complaint about the incident. Police are investigating the matter and after investigation, legal action would be taken.
