The reason for that partition and its horrors were buried in the pages of history but the Prime Minister Narendra Modi decided to celebrate the horrors of partition of the county in the memory of August 14, 1947. Ten times more Indians were martyred than the number of brave Indian who sacrificed their lives in the freedom struggle. The then ruling party leaders and historians talked about forgetting it while this was the world’s biggest gruesome horror. Women and Sanatanis were subjected to severe atrocities. Today’s generation is asking as to who were those people who divided the country for the benefit of power but today we are celebrating the Amrit Mahotasava of Independence and there is a nationalist government in the country under Narendra Modi.
