The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with great pomp and enthusiasm in Bhojpur district. The national flag was unfurled by almost all educational institutions, government offices, NGOs, Red Cross Society, Bal Hindi Pustakalaya, Arya Samaj, Lawaris Sewa Kendra, Lok Jagriti Ara, Youth Hostel of India, IMA, Civil Court, SP office, all the police stations and other social organizations. Bhojpur DM Tanay Sultaniya, SP Mister Raj, District Judge, Bharat Bhushan Bhasin, MLAs, MP, MLC, Mayor, AMC, Chairperson, District Board, other officials of the Bhojpur district administration, leaders of political parties were present on the occasion.

ARA----------------------The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with great pomp and enthusiasm in Bhojpur district. The national flag was unfurled by almost all educational institutions, government offices, NGOs, Red Cross Society, Bal Hindi Pustakalaya, Arya Samaj, Lawaris Sewa Kendra, Lok Jagriti Ara, Youth Hostel of India, IMA, Civil Court, SP office, all the police stations and other social organizations. Bhojpur DM Tanay Sultaniya, SP Mister Raj, District Judge, Bharat Bhushan Bhasin, MLAs, MP, MLC, Mayor, AMC, Chairperson, District Board, other officials of the Bhojpur district administration, leaders of political parties were present on the occasion.
The main function was organized at historical Ramana Maidan where Deputy Chief Minister cum Minister-in-charge, Bhojpur unfurled the tri-coloured national flag. Paying tributes to the freedom fighters who sacrificed themselves for the independence of their motherland, he highlighted the achievements of the government and the district administration. he also apprised the people of the schemes and policy of the government. He gave away letter of appreciation to the students for their excellence in the field of sports, education, arts and culture and health.
Earlier in the morning, school children took out a ‘Prabhat Pheri’ that passed through the main thoroughfares of the town and culminated at Ramana Maidan.
Headmasters and Principals of all schools and colleges at their respective schools and colleges, SHOs of all the police stations, DDC at the Red Cross Society, President, Youth Hostel of India, Bhojpur SP Mister Raj at the SP Office, Bhojpur District Judge Bharat Bhushan Bhasin at Ara Civil Court, former MLC, Lal Das Rai at Lawaris Sewa Kendra, Mayor, AMC, Indu Devi at AMC and others unfurled the national flag in their respective places.
Colourful tableaux were taken out by different schools, Sudha Dairy, Excise Department, NGOs and others presenting different aspects of development and government schemes and mesmerised the audience.
