65 teachers of honored on Teacher's Day
New Delhi. (RNI) 65 teachers of the country, including renowned teacher Meenakshi Chowdhary, were honored on Teachers' Day, here today.
Former Vice President of Nepal Justice Parmanand Jha honored these teachers in a program organized by Antarrashtriya Samrasta Manch and Indo Nepal Samrasta Organization. He had come to participate in this program along with his wife and daughter Mrs. Jyoti Jha.
The birthday of Dr. Radha Krishnan, the former President of India, is celebrated as Teachers' Day on 5 September.
Teachers have an important contribution in society building, so it is a pleasant moment to honor them. This honor can be done by the government or the private sector & to boost the morale of the teachers & make them feel proud, said Justice Jha.
The head of the organization Mahavir Prasad Todi welcomed the incoming guests. Vice President of The Indian Society of International Law Dr. GV Rao, Senior Advocate Dr. AP Singh and many other personalities addressed.
Santosh Sukhwani, head of Pragya Education and advisor of the forum, said that 65 teachers have been honored.L.S.
