25 lakh should be given to journalist Vimal's family: Inquiry committee.

New Delhi. (RNI) In the case of the murder of a journalist by criminals in Bihar's Araria last days, the investigation team of journalist organizations, in its report, has demanded an immediate compensation of Rs 25 lakh to the family of the deceased from the state government. 
A team of journalists led by Indian Journalist Association (IJA) chief Ram Nath Vidrohi had gone to Araria last few days to take stock of the massacre. It included National General Secretary Ranjesh Kumar Jha "Alok", senior journalist Avinash Kumar Singh from Khagaria and many other members.
Senior journalist Dr. Samarendra Pathak, leader of the Joint Forum of Journalist Organizations and coordinator of "Save UNI Movement" associated with the country's leading news agency, gave this information here today. He told that Mr. Vidrohi during his visit met the family, local journalists and administrative officials. A report has been sent to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and other top officials.
It is worth mentioning that Vimal Kumar Rai, a journalist working in a daily newspaper, was shot dead in Raniganj, Araria district of Bihar. L.S.
