20 Kg OF GANJA SEIZED, 4 DRUG PEDDLERS ARRESTED

Buxar, 5 December 2022, (RNI): RPF, Buxar seized 5 kilogram of ganja packed in a bag and arrested a drug peddler at the Buxar railway station under Danapur rail division of East Central Railway (ECR), Hajipur when he was smuggling the ganja from West Bengal. The arrested drug peddler was identified as Shivam Kumar
SHO RPF, Deepak Kumar said that Shivam Kumar was smuggling ganja from West Bengal and he had to deliver the consignment in Balia in Uttar Pradesh but the RPF, on confidential report, arrested Shivam Kumar with 5 kilogram of ganja packed in a bag. Later the RPF handed over the drug peddler to the GRP. It was for the second time, he had smuggled ganja.
In another incident, Buxar police arrested three drug smugglers along with 15 kilogram of ganja when they were coming from Assam with the consignment. The arrested drug peddlers were identified as Pintu Kumar of By Pass, Buxar, Guddu Kumar of Bharauli in Uttar Pradesh and Hanuman Rai alias Sunny Rai of Dumraon railway station road in Buxar district.
Buxar SP Neeraj Kumar Singh said that the Buxar police arrested three drug peddlers from near Naya Bhojpur Bus Stand under New Bhojpur police outpost of Dumraon Sub-Division in Buxar district when they came to Buxar from Assam in North-East Superfast Express Train and seized 15 kilogram of ganja from their possession. The ganja was to be delivered in Buxar.
