Biennial election for the Ara Bar Association is on the card. During the election process for the session 2024-2026 of the District Bar Association Ara for 26 posts, all the 16 members for three posts were declared victorious unopposed after the scrutiny of nomination papers of the candidates whereas 34 candidates are in the fray for the election to be held for 10 members of six posts.

ARA-------------------------Biennial election for the Ara Bar Association is on the card. During the election process for the session 2024-2026 of the District Bar Association Ara for 26 posts, all the 16 members for three posts were declared victorious unopposed after the scrutiny of nomination papers of the candidates whereas 34 candidates are in the fray for the election to be held for 10 members of six posts.
Election Officer, Adv. Shiv Jee Singh said that five candidates, Manlal Singh, Rakesh Kumar Mishra, Shambhu Nath Pandey, Vidya Niwas Singh alias Deepak Singh and Vishnu Singh are contesting election for the one post of president while five candidates Chandeshwar Rai, Gorakhnath Mishra, Prem Kumar alias Pankaj Singh, Sanjay Kumar Singh and Surendra Kumar are in the fray for the three post of vice-presidents, 12 candidates Arvind Kumar Singh, Vimal Kumar Singh, Vijeta Vijayvardhan, Deepak Kumar, Jayant Kumar Singh, Ramaan Singh, Man Mohan Ojha, Manoranjan Kumar Singh, Sanjeev Kumar Upadhyaya, Subhash Chandra Prasad, Triloki Nath Singh and Yashpal Sigh for one post of general secretary, seven candidates for the joint secretary are Arvind Kumar Pandey, Balendu Shekhar Gupta, Virendra Kumar Singh, Gunjay Kumar, Ravi Kumar, Raju Kumar Singh and Vikas Upadhyaya, three candidates for treasure are Dinesh Kumar, Jairam Singh and Madhurendra Kumar Pandey and two candidates for the audit are Ravi Kumar and Pramod Kumar Rai are in the fray. On the other hand, Library President, Sanjay Kumar Singh remained unopposed, Vishal Kumar Pandey, Md. Iftesar Ahamed and Shashikant for the post of Assistant Secretary, Arun Kumar Singh, Vishnudhar Pandey, Jitendra Kumar Singh, Ram Suresh Singh and Sudama Singh for the members of the senior executive, Alok Tiwari, Deepak Kumar, Dhirendra Pratap Singh, Krishna Gopal Tiwari, Manoj Kumar, Praveen Kumar and Radha Krishna Kumar for the members of the executive have been elected unopposed.
The election officer, Shambhu Jee Singh said that voting will be held on June 22, 2024 from 7am to 4pm at the Advocate Association Building located in the campus of the Ara Civil Court and the election results will be announced after counting of votes from 5pm the same day.
