11 PERSONS INJURED

Ara, 14 February 2023, (RNI): At least 11 persons were injured including two personnel of Bihar Military Police (BMP) when vehicles of convoy of Jan Adhikar Party (JAP) supremo Pappu Yadav collided at about 1am on Tuesday near Kundeshwar Sthan under Shahpur police station on Bhojpur-Buxar border but Pappu Yadav escaped narrowly unhurt and a vehicle of escort party fell into a ditch. Pappu Yadav was going to attend marriage ceremony of the son of Parmanand Yadav, state general secretary, JAP at Purwa village. 

Pappu Yadav said that he along with his friends and workers of the party and escort party was going to Purva village in Buxar district to attend marriage ceremony of the son of the JAP’s state general secretary Parmanand Yadav in the late night after meeting victims of Mubarakpur in Saran case. He said that a truck was trying to overtake his vehicles repeatedly. The driver of the escort party tried to save from the truck and in the bid all the vehicles collided in which at least 11 persons Sunil Kumar Yadav, Raj Kumar, Dinesh Ji and others including two personnel of escort party were injured. He said that the collision was so intense that the vehicles were badly damaged.
